About SafeCycle

Las Vegas bicycle safety data, all in one place.

The Problem

As a cyclist in Las Vegas, I wanted to know which roads were actually dangerous, where construction was affecting routes, and whether bike infrastructure made a real difference to safety outcomes. That information existed, but it was scattered across government data portals, impossible to cross-reference, and never visualized for cyclists.

SafeCycle combines crash records, active construction, and bike infrastructure into a single map and data analysis so Las Vegas cyclists can make more informed decisions about where and how they ride.

Data Sources

All data is sourced from public government open data portals and refreshed weekly.

Luke Logue, cyclist and data engineer based in Las Vegas. Built SafeCycle after realising there was nowhere to see all this data in one place.
